Part one of my hopefully continuous Wheel of Time Project, wherein I try to draw something from each chapter because practice is good! Starting with the Prologue, which I think gathers extra poignancy the more you know about the characters.
Lews Therin Telamon, aka Kinslayer, aka The Dragon, the man who tried to save the world and broke it instead. He’s a character from the era before these books are set, and is notable for sealing the Dark One away in his prison at the end of the last age. In doing so he also doomed any man who can use magic to insanity, himself included.
Some studies up top, including a younger take, and a scene from this chapter in which he contemplates his appearance in a mirror whilst simultaneous being obliviously mad.I re-drew his eyes in that last pic so many times I just gave up…
